Found a Cavalier who is lost or a stray?
If this is an emergency and you need help immediately you will be given contact information and instructions after you have submitted the form.
💡 The reality is, if you find a Cavalier, the likelihood is that they are someone’s beloved pet. They do not usually need to be taken into a rescue immediately. Most often, simply providing them a safe place and following the steps below will quickly reunite them with their family.
We are always happy to help, but we can only step in once the following steps have been completed with a found dog:
1. Scan for a microchip – The dog must be taken to a local vet or shelter to be scanned for a microchip.
2. Post on local platforms – Please post the dog on Facebook (Straydar), Nextdoor, Ring, as well as Maricopa County’s lost pet website.
🚨 We cannot work through friends of friends — we must communicate directly with the person who has the dog in their care.
⚠️ Please note: We can only take in Cavaliers. We have a very limited number of foster homes, we are unable to take in other breeds or mixes.
