Foster Program

Thank you so much for your interest in fostering for Cavalier Rescue Foundation. Foster families like yours allow us to save more dogs, and we’re truly grateful you’re willing to open your home and heart to a dog in need.

By fostering, you give a neglected, abandoned, or recently surrendered dog a safe place to decompress, learn, and grow. Your care provides the stability and socialization that help our dogs become confident, adoptable, and ready for their forever families.

Many of our dogs come from Midwestern breeding facilities, and we often know very little about them upon arrival. Recently, we’ve also taken in a rising number of owner surrenders who need patience and reassurance during their transition. Foster homes play a key role in helping us understand each dog’s needs.

While we prefer foster homes in Scottsdale and Phoenix—ideally within 7 miles of our veterinarians (Kierland Animal Clinic and McClintock Animal Care)—we are open to considering applicants outside our usual 10-mile radius.
