Adoption Application

Please Note: Cavalier Rescue Foundation is a 100% volunteer-run rescue. We are not breeders or puppy brokers, and this work is done alongside our families and full-time responsibilities.

We operate as a full-disclosure rescue, meaning we share everything we know about each dog—the good, the bad, and everything in between—so adopters can make informed decisions. Our priority is always the dog and the best possible placement.

We are fortunate to have a strong pool of qualified adopters for each dog. If we choose to move forward with you, it is because we genuinely believe you are the best fit for that specific dog. We are never in a position where a dog needs to be placed with a particular applicant.

If cosmetic preferences such as pedigree, coat, or “the dog just doesn’t have the specific look you’re going for” become the primary focus, or if an adopter becomes difficult to work with during the process, we will happily refer you to trusted breeders and move forward with the next application.
